Hubby Jenkins Grand Ole Opry Debut
Hubby Jenkins made his solo debut on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN on Friday, June 21, 2024. He performed two songs on the banjo. The songs were "Johnstown Blues" by Gus Canon and "Texas Traveler" by Nathan Frazier and Frank Patterson. The Opry audience loved Hubby Jenkins. Hubby Jenkins show is about the history of the banjo. An instrument that was created by slaves in Caribbean and later in America. Later popularized by Caucasian musicians used in other genres.
